I ended up using an empty juice jar to make a deeper trap, and put a peach pit & skins down in there. I left it sitting on my kitchen counter overnight, then capped it in the morning with one quick motion. No more fruit flies! These videos don't do it justice, because he's such a ham when he's sees or hears the camera that he stops crawling to smile at it. LOL. It makes it a little tough to get action footage.
