The full term gnatalie belly as it lounges in bed on a lazy Saturday morning… It has felt like a waiting game for 37 weeks, but now it REALLY is. All this time of anticipation, preparation, researching, wondering, etc has gone by fairly quickly. Now we are at the point that literally any day [...] The truth is always exciting. Speak it, then. Truth: I like to think my pregnancy has been easy, not horribly uncomfortable, and I’ve handled it well. BUT I’m thinking I might [...] And to think, we purposefully didn’t have me being in the last trimester during the summer to avoid bad swelling. Good plan. Hopefully I don’t explode like the Marshmallow Man did in Ghostbusters and my remaining 2 pair of shoes that fit continue to stretch with me. Today we had what I think will be our last ultrasound. Just 5 weeks to go! Sawyer is still measuring above average (75th percentile) at 6 pounds 8 ounces. That is a little better than the last measurement when he was at the 85th percentile. Maybe drinking less chocolate milk helped. [...] See, I told you excitement was filling the air. Today we were given gifts from two of our friends from my office, plus gifts arrived from an out of town friend, and the cloth diaper order arrived. It is adorable baby (and sock monkey) mania! All kinds of cute clothes, uber sock monkey goodness [...] The holidays are here, and I’m already enjoying what I’m calling a full month of Christmas. Hehe. What ever do I mean? Well, I’ve been doing some baby shopping – thanks mostly to the gift cards & money we received at the shower. I tend to shop mostly online, but also bought several [...] |
