I have made it to Maryland and all is well. I’ve only been here for 2 days, but so far I love it. The drive on Saturday took about 8 hours but went smooth. Unloading the truck went fast. Dad, Jay, and I unloaded odds & ends stuff, and then the movers took care of the furniture and heavy boxes in about 30 minutes.
The house is a little older then we remembered, but we love all the space. After complaining about all the stuff I have, Jay now says we need more stuff…knick knacks, artwork, etc. I’ll try to get some pictures of the inside later this week, once there aren’t so many boxes everywhere. As you can see in the picture, the house is 2 stories, has a nice size porch, and a fairly big yard (especially for being just 10 mins out of DC). I tried to get some flowers planted this evening, but I was getting chewed on by mosquitos so I’ll finish the rest in the morning.
Starting on the flowers already, nice touch, and yes I noticed then Broom!! Glad you are already connected electronically to the back country of WV. I know you will get worn down from our emails in the days ahead but that is tough! Thanks for recovering our bag. How did Jays first day at school go? See you this weekend.
Very cute for a city house. The plants and stuff will look nice once you get them all done. When you can, I’d like to see pics from all around – the back, side, inside, upside down, inside out…hehe. You get the gist. And…in case you didn’t notice, I forgot to give you the white plastic temporary chairs. Sorry!

Hey, the whole gang is gathered around the computer to see your house and to just read what you have to say. We love you. Mom wants to say something but she wants to write it on paper then type it to send!
